Julia Williams is an osteopath and naturopath with a passion for optimising the health potential of every individual. 


Clinic-based osteopathic consultations in central London and SW France, as well as residential health & injury rehabilitation.

Equine Osteopathy

Equine osteopathy is well known for its benefits to the well being and performance of horses and ponies.


Equine osteopathy utilises very similar assessment and treatment techniques as for humans.


Active examination of movements and paces, passive mobility of muscles, tendons and ligaments. 


Followed by treatment using neuro-integrative techniques (NIS), soft tissue techniques, mobilisations and manipulations.

Equine anatomy, surface palpation of landmarks of the horse's foreleg.

Injured?

In case of injury e.g. bruising, sprains, strains to any part of the body

Remember PRICE

Protect from further injury - stop doing what you were doing!

Rest stay calm, lying down is usually best, wait for any spasm to subside.

Ice apply anything cold for 10 minutes.

Compression use a support bandage or cushions depending on the location.

Elevate an injured limb to reduce swelling.

Seek advice if necessary
